- Enrolled in belly dancing class
- Have indulged myself in a bit of poetry recently
- Acknowledged that I do indeed have a spiritual side
- Bought a MacBook Pro (something I have wanted for years but always felt it would be too frivolous to get)
- Taking myself on “Artist Dates”
- Listening to the best of my music collection and singing wildly with it
- Consistently wondering how I can make the world a better place
- Workouts everyday that I enjoy!

What have you been doing for yourself lately?

I’m intrigued. What do you mean by “Artist Dates”?

Also, congrats on the Macbook Pro. Sweet!

As for me, I’ve been doing more yoga/stretching/Tai Chi of late… not necessarily bit workouts but taking time to be connected to my body more each day.

Well the idea of the “artist date” come from Julia Cameron’s “The Artists Way.” It’s a great artist/creativity recovery book! If you haven’t heard of it you should check it out. It will be a staple in my bookshelves forever.

And yes, stretching/yoga is my favorite way to workout. Otherwise I play a game on my Wii Fit. It’s such great fun and you don’t have to feel self-conscience like if you were at a gym or something. I really love it!
