Another day, another NaBloPoMo post: If you could have ANY animal as a pet, what would it be?

I have to say, this prompt is practically blasphemy in my home! An animal other than my precious Daisy? But she’s my preciousss! Okay, I get the idea, some exotic animal could be all mine right? A dolphin in my bathtub or something? Honestly, I’ve had fish, horses, a cat and a dog. I’ve met gerbils and birds (personally not my thing). By all measures though, having a dog is the greatest! For me, my small (6lbs.) dog is perfect. I’ve befriended lovely rottweilers as well as a cute Jack Russel terrier. Both were extremely lovable and fun. But there’s just something more reasonable for me about being able to physically pick up and control my dog in case of any emergencies and such.

Really, I mean, how many times can I say I’m really happy to have my dog Daisy? There’s not much else to elaborate on. If you have a four-legged partner in your life you know how much fun it is. Running around like a kid, playing tug of war with socks, hiding under the blankets all morning… ahh it’s a blissful, simple life! She is a key to my happiness.
