Today is the very first day of July and I am feeling a bit refreshed, a bit inspired, and a lot creative. So I decided to take the plunge and do a month of posting for NaBloPoMo. They post prompts Monday-Friday and I figured at least to get my butt into gear I would start this month of with their question: “What’s your favorite movie?”

Ah, for me a complex question! I am such a crazy movie buff. I am addicted to Netflix and watching streaming movies all the time. To pick a favorite is extremely difficult. At certain times in my life I would have been able to shout, “Thirteen” or “Garden State” or “Me And You And Everyone We Know” from the rooftops without hesitation. But now, after seeing so many movies it’s really impossible to just pick one. “Cashback” has stayed with me since my first viewing, as well as “28 Days Later”, “Sunshine”, “The Machinist”, “Wristcutters: A Love Story”, “The Fountain”, “Day Watch” & “Night Watch”, “Memento” and “The Science of Sleep”. And I know I’m leaving several out! I love to get into my little ‘zone’ watching a movie and be completely engrossed by the storyline and the characters. It’s truly a great time and one of my favorite things to do besides read.
